Architectural Strategy & Problem Statement
The enterprise EMS needed a decoupled, high-performance billing system that could dynamically compute complex taxation structures, allow worktime adjustments without data corruption, and compile multi-page PDF statements for hundreds of enterprise clients concurrently without memory saturation.
Implemented Engineering Solution
Engineered a Spring Boot 3 microservice with Angular PrimeNG frontend. Employed asynchronous JasperReports compilation workers backed by Redis caching, stateless JWT security with method-level RBAC, and ACID transactional database boundaries.
Key Architectural Outcomes:
- Zero memory leaks during high-throughput JasperReports compilation across 1,000+ page monthly batch jobs.
- Stateless security architecture with granular role-based permissions (Finance Admins vs. Regular Approvers).
- 95%+ automated test coverage with JUnit & Mockito integrated into continuous delivery.
